A major milestone in our sustainability journey
Recently, the Crown Oil Environmental team were in our Redditch yard carrying out a full deep clean of our diesel tank — an essential step in preparation for our first delivery of HVO fuel.
HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) is a sustainable, renewable diesel made from waste fats and vegetable oils. It’s a direct drop-in alternative to fossil diesel, requires no engine modifications, and can reduce net CO₂ emissions by up to 90%
We’ve now taken delivery of our first 15,000-litre order of HVO from Beesley Fuels, marking a huge step in the right direction for Fly By Nite as we continue to reduce our environmental impact while keeping our operations moving efficiently.
